Golden Triangle Tour: Delhi-Agra-Jaipur-Delhi

The Golden Triangle Tour is one of the most popular tours in North India. This is one tour that captures the sights and sounds of the three most historic cities of the country – Delhi, Agra and Jaipur. The tour is also known as the golden triangle tourist circuit as the route makes a triangle.

Golden Triangle Tour Itinerary

Day 1: Delhi – Agra (200 km/4.5 Hrs)
Departure to Agra in an air-conditioned vehicle by road. After arrival, check-in at hotel. Later visit the Taj Mahal and Agra Fort. Taj Mahal and Agra Fort are two iconic heritage monuments in Agra that were built by the Mughal emperors. Taj Mahal was built by emperor Shah Jahan while the Red Fort at Agra was built by his Grand Father and the most admired Mughal emperor Akbar. The Agra Fort was under constant construction from the reign of Akabar to the reign of Shah Jahan.
Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 2: Agra-Jaipur (230 km/5-6 Hrs)
After Check out from hotel, departure for Jaipur. En-route visit Fatehpur Sikri, the deserted capital city that Akbar once built but had to leave due to shortage of water. After reaching Jaipur, check-in at hotel. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 3: Jaipur
Full day guided tour of Jaipur city. In the evening, explore colourful bazaars of Jaipur. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 4: Jaipur-Delhi (250 km/5-6 Hrs)
After breakfast, visit Amber Fort. Later check-out from the hotel and proceed to Delhi. After arrival in Delhi, transfer  to airport/railway station for onward journey.
